Help...!!!! brake light lit up
Help...!!!! brake light lit up
I find it weird my brake light litted up when I'm stepping on the accelerator... Wat could possibly happened ?
I second this notion; check behind the brake pedal to see if the little plastic 'plug' between the pedal and the hinge has broken off, if so replace with a new piece from the stockists or a stopgap measure that has served me quite well is a screw bolt in place of the plastic one. Any competent mechanic or DIY'er will be able to rectify the issue for you if you have no idea what we are talking about. And they shouldn't charge you for it too, unless you're buying a new piece to begin with.Gresini wrote:2nd option. climb below n look at the top of your brake pedal to see if the brake light switch spring dropped.
Speed sensor faulty usually your speedometer will go bonkers first rather than your brake lights come on, so I really don't think that is the issue.

Hard to say offhand, it could be your instrumentation panel is faulty (small circuit short somewhere or loose soldering etc) leading to the needles going haywire at times (I've experienced before in a loaned ESI where the speedometer will either stay at below 20-30kph or fly to 120+kph like a Defi stepping motor gauge). If it is tied in to acceleration input and fluctuates accordingly it could be a faulty speed-sensor and/or wiring from said item to ECU/dash.
Then again it could be just some loose wiring somewhere in the maze of electrical octopii that our cars have.....electrical and/or wiring problems is the nightmare of any DIY'er and for that matter most mechanics! Sorry can't shed much light on this issue bro....
