What is wrong with my front senor, please advice.

Hi,

Can anyone with knowledge/exposure to front sensor advice me what is wrong with my front sensor?

It look like the below. When I turn on, nothing happens on the display but continous loud beeping sound come out. Occassionally, only one side of the sensor will work with a blue bar flicking and middle part showing the distance in meters. I am the second owner of my vehicle so I have no manul to refer to unfortunately.

from what i can see likely to be a distance sensor right? same like reverse parking sensor only thing is that it not only beeps but also gives a simple user interface of telling you which side (left or right) has something in the path with what ya say is a blue light and the centre part tells you the distance in metres.
can test see if i'm correct. ask any fren stand in front of the left sensor see if anything lights up and vice versa to know how accurate it is.
dunno if this was the answer/suggestion ya were asking for..

I hv a similar front sensor but not exactly like yours.
Probably, a faulty proximity sensor or mis-alignment. Btw, the sensor detection is zone area rather a straight ahead proximity.
As a result on a moving vehicle & vibration, inavietibly senses the road & give a beep too.
Normally, I will switch "off" during driving. Only use it for parallel parking.

I should have been clearer with my problem. I have seen it working properly before but sometimes ago, when i turned it on only continuous beeping sound is heard but nothing is shown on the display screen. Kindly advise what is wrong?
