any kind soul can help on ECU

car in workshop over 2 weeks. been told its ecu problem had it changed still got problem starting car. practically workshop refund me the ecu money and have to search it for myself.

anyone know where can i get it? scrapyard yes? which one to?

if get new one gonna cost how much?

its a ESI manual 3dr

its the workshop who say its ECU problem. my car sometime can start sometime cannot. very headache, just changed distributor, relay and ECU at their shop

anyone know any other ECU is compatible to my car? P28 is currently the stock 1 right?

==> if you have friends driving the same car or car with the same ECU, try using their ECU on your car and see if it starts the engine.

if ya engine doesn't start even with their working ECU, then problem should lies on the wiring fault of your car...

if ya engine starts, then its like that ya ECU had been fried.

==> yes, for ESi stock ECU is P28....

dun bother get from yard la..half of them spoil one oso...no warrenty le..
try to find one in wts...lesser chance it mayb spoil...

oh okok i thought yard also got warranty. change of ecu needs to do tunning too?
