question abt cat

wats the meaning of de-cat? It means removing the cat completely from the midplpe, or just removing the parts inside the cat itself? Meaning a dummy cat along the midpipe.

I believe he is refering to catalyst (Cat).
I know some drivers mod and remove the "Cat" without changing the original catalyst shell. The mechanic do a pretty job.
Pls be careful to post this topic as this is illegal. Max fine $3000 on LTA rules and regulations guideline.
