What is the possible fault? Intend to troubleshoot myself first.
Please advise.

I encountered b4. If u don't think is any technical problems, then probably is your immobiliser. Might be a missing or faulty chip from your remote.

since it cranks, battery is fine. you either have no spark or no fuel pressure.

turn the key such that the dash lights come on but don't crank. if u can hear the fuel pump prime for a second or so, fuel pump's working and chances are dizzy is kaputt. if not, fuel pump is kaputt.

good luck.

for esi ....

if cannot start...

crank and see rpm.. if reach 200 - 300 got firing signal. if got then OK
no reading = wiring or ecu

twist regulator nut and see if fuel spurt at ignition on. if got then OK
no fuel = fuel pump/relay spoil or ecu

spark/cable test .. place a big screwdriver into plug cable and put scredriver near car chassis then crank. if spark fly to chassis then OK
no spark = firing signal missing from ecu/distributor/ignition coil/sparkplug cable

if all this ok .. then check intake temp sensor

if still cannot! i thnk ecu liao or compression.
