CP/CU Head Unit - Bluetooth?

Post by lingamair » Sat Mar 06, 2010 9:56 pm

Hi guys,

I had a very long spin in a new Toyota Camry Hybrid last Monday, and the audio system came with bluetooth capability and I managed do A2DP streaming from my iPhone to the audio system.

Is there any possibility of modifying our CP/CU audio head unit sets to incorporate this feature? I guess it might involve changing the head unit to another brand/model. Would this be possible?

Many Thanks.
Tsentsan

The pinging is quite intermitten now and I've grown to drone out the sound with louder music.

The Camry Hybrid was a rental car from Hertz Sydney. Took it down to Canberra for the day :)

To be totally honest, I've given up on M*M. I feel that they dont seem to be serious about any of the problems I am encountering. I feel that they love giving the run-around and not accepting that there's a fault. For my pinging issue, they said it is normal and a characteristic of the car. I'm like WTF, this is just like Honda Australia.

Furthermore, they charge for what was supposed to be fixes under warranty (My cruise control went kaput a few months back and it was due to a fuse problem and they charged me for it).

As to changing the car, if some one is kind enough to take it off of me for a reasonable price, I'll gladly change it and swap to a Kia Cerato. Otherwise I'll just drive it and perhaps ship it to Australia for a full repair job (The car has Australian compliance so no issues on entry).
