Qns on CP2 mileage km/L after servicing by KM
Hi there
I have faced some issue with my CP2 mileage after serviced by KM.
From 0 to 30000km. my average is ard 9+ km/L
After the 30000km servicing, i am only able to get 8+ ard 8.2km/L thats quite low. Rang the KM service guy to check. The fuel injector was serviced. but should not be causing the problem.
The driving pattern and style did not change.
Did not really care much fr then. But keeping a record of my mileage fr 30000 to 40000km. Average is ard 8.3km/L for the 30k to 40k period. Last week have done my 40000km servicing and wait to see any changes to it or not. Was again told that nothing done to the engine. So now keeping a close look to see if can get back to 9+ km/L. Will KIV for the mileage update.
Ok. As some ppl may know that i do still have the older CM5 with me too. Again. The car was also sent in for servicing last week for the 140000km... And on average the CM5 can get ard high 8 to 9+ km/L. After the last week servicing... the mileage drop to ard 7.3 km/L. Thats too low man.
My qns. Is there something was 'done' at KM? I'm not sure. but i trusted them. Not pointing finger anyway. Just wanna find out the root cause.
Bro with CP2 can give me some update on ur CP2 average mileage? And wat is the KM rating sticker sticked on the show room car ah?
Again if anyone asking. Both car are STOCK! Non mod.
Thanks.

Hi bro Cochran,
thanks for sharing this info...was about to send car in for my servicing.
My 2.4 FC had not been monitored for a while as I was rather lazy....may be I will checked b4 I send in....on the other hand, I had modded my rims and added stuff, so naturally my FC will be worst than the stock 2.4....but cant be far...to be shared w u later...
Cheers!

Hi Bros, my CP2 is ard 10 - 11, Think its not bad hor...
Bro Cochran, wats the servicing price for 40000km? i have just reached.
Think the CP is a bit not up to the past accord.
Batt only ard 30k, Wiper quite fast wear out, car alarm no sound, the insulation and engine noise must bear with it...
But overall, the look is good...

Just to chk if we r calculating on same ground, how much is the gas tank litres u use to calculate yr FC....
I only use half tank mark to calculate cos u cannot drive till full empty tank...

maybe i always mostly on highway driving also.
Ok. Wah look like most of u all having better FC then me.
For my driving time is the usual morning 7+ jam and evening jam.
think my 40k svc is ard $500+
Ya. i do agree that the CP maybe a bit not as good as the CM. but the look of CP is there. But till now no major issue with the CP yet as nearing to 2 yr liao. (Wah time fly man 2 yr liao in april)
still have not topup my tank yet. ha. now almost 1/4 liao.
My calcuation is based on. after topup will note my distance fr ODO then see how many litre top up fr the kiosk meter or receipt. then distance/litre to get the FC per litre.

Bros,
Just my opinion...
Our CP gasoline tank is either 65L or 70 L capacity. So if we track our mileage from full tank (auto stop during filling) till mid tank mark, we should use the clocked kms and divide by the 32.5L or 35L....and it should give us a closer accuracy....if use empty tank warning light, there is still some % remain in the tank.
Can anyone confirm our gasoline tank size?
cheers!

Guy, this is how i calculate (may not be the best).
I will set zero when the fuel needle reaches the half mark (error may happen, but give and take a bit). And at any point when i fill up, i will keep the receipt (because the number of liters of fuel pump in, is recorded). At the point when the needle hits the half way point, before i reset to zero i will record the mileage. Divide the mileage with the liters of fuel.
