Anyone can recommend a decent GPS?

Post by puffer71 » Tue Jul 07, 2009 12:19 pm

Bros..

Its time again for me to go sepang.. Then, i also wanted to visit some ulu places there as well.. Makan etc... Black glass salon hehehehe... joking!

Anyway, I used to have those mobile phone GPS gadgets but they are quite useless.

Since then, quite a lot of GPS gadgets are now available in the market and wondering if any of you guys IT savvy type can recommend.

Good and powerful ones. Free map with no subscription is possible.

Cheers

Electricity is actually made up of extremely tiny particles called electrons, that you cannot see with the naked eye unless you have been drinking...

Do note that not all phones GPS are true GPS. e.g. iPhone is not a GPS.. but AGPS (Assisted GPS), in which it uses telephone broadcast station to get ur position using triangulation method.

I went out to buy one just now. Garmin nuvi 765. Was playing with it just now. Its good except I got really irritated by the lady voice reminding me about ERP and the ERP timings! LOL

Thanks everyone!
