Quite a newbie, and some information on the CU2.

Post by ecrudust » Tue Apr 14, 2009 7:35 pm

I am not really new as some in the SHC ppl(especially in the Civic forum) will know me as Andy, who plays fooball with them on Sundays. Anyway, my CU2 will arrive soon, so I thought I will take this opportunity to intro myself and share some info.

Take note:
For the bros out there interested in the PI Accords, check with the Sales Rep if the radio stations can be converted to be used locally. I understand from my PI guy that, after installing a 'converter' into the factory fitted radio, I am able to tune to local stations. But instead of 95.0FM, I will have to tune to 85.0FM.I have no clue why, and am hoping if any of the bros out there might have some sensible answers and any lobang that I can go for rectification after I get the car. Before the conversion though, the radio can only be tuned up to 90.0FM.

I hope I'm not being snooked............as I have yet to see the result of the conversion.

At the mean time, I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.

This is a pretty standard thing I believe? I remb my colleague's JDM RX8 having this same issue.

bro, dont just live with it...after spending $80K to $90K on a new car, get the best out of it. Am sure one of the local audio shop can do something to it.

Else trade in for a local HU while it is brand new for better trade in value...

Last but not least, welcome to the world of CPCU accord forum..

Fyi, one of the CU bros here shall be collecting his car very very soon!

Cheers!

if i'm not wrong the HU is integrated. don't think there will be any value for trading in since no-one else would want a Japan frequency display. just live with it and u'll get use to it :D
