Blown ECU

Post by milee » Mon Mar 02, 2009 7:19 pm

Hi Guys, I was driving my eg9 and it suddenly stalled and couldn't start again. Towed the car to the workshop and the mechanic says that the ECU is Blown, according to him, mine is a P30. So is it a must to change back to the P30 or is there any cheaper ways to get it done? Please help?

Also, would an Automatic ECU work? Please advise. Thank you

Got it fixed already thanks bro. Anyway it happened suddenly, I was driving and while stopping, it felt as if the car's engine has stalled, then the next thing I realise, the car cannot start anymore. At first, I thought it was the distributor problem, and my mechanic agreed with me, by after that he told me that it's the ECU that is blown...
