disappearing petrol

recently i pumped my eg full tank and left for 4 days nv drive,
but how come my petrol left only half tank?
i inspected the floor but there's no leakage.
is there any reason for this?
could i be hole at my tank that causes it to leak till half tank then 4 days later the leaked petrol dried up so i dun see any petrol on the floor?

If leak n drip on floor, even when dried up should have stain (depending what petrol u pump, most likely red color).
Might be your fuel cap not closed tight? Check your fuel cap... and monitor if it happens again.
and of coz, there's always the possibility of petrol thief...
