Just curious, has anyone tried taking out the stock rim & weigh? Is it as what the KM agent had claimed that the stock rim is already very lightweigh?? When I first got my hybrid ride & wanted to change the rims but the agent advised me not to as it is already veri lightweigh, is it true??spyder79 wrote:don consider liao.. change the dinner plate ...see my postingkozmic wrote:1stly.. there is no bodykit for HCH yet.. and the current FD2 bodykit im not really sure whether is it possible to fit onto HCH. although the chassis number is the same. the price of the kit is slightly too expensive. I went over to S****t and ask for the price of mugen bodykit and they quote me $1.1k. with the spoiler. plus intalling n spraying.rsver wrote:
may i ask why so? can share?
2ndly.. i feel that installing bodykit to the car might affect the FC. coz it adds weight to the car itself. Sad.. i am considering of just changing the "ugly" rims to a 15" or 16" sports rims. which will make it look sporty enough.

JDM CTR BK on your HCH?
About 7 kg. Some bloke in greenhybrid forum weighed it in before.
Also its not just the weight, but also the inertial. For more info, u can peruse this article. Quite informative : http://asia.vtec.net/Reviews/EibachBBS/index.html

Now then I know increasing the rims size affect the pickup more than the increase in weight, even if we find a super light weight rims, it will not be able to compensate for the extra inertia cos by increase in rim size.
Thumbs up.

kozmic wrote:guys.. what do u suggest? changing light weight 15" rims or normal 16" rims? coz i dun think HCH is able to support 17" onwards..
in any case changing the rims will increase the FC. but i feel that 15" rims on HCH looks too small. 16" is alright.
