06 jazz jerking when moving off

Post by terroract » Sun Sep 26, 2010 9:08 am

hi all,

i understand some bros have had the same issue. It happens only for the first gear so should i only change the cvt transmission oil or change the cvt itself?
What is the damage then if i change the cvt or should i wait till problem is very bad before changing?

Thanks!

I went back to Kah Motor previously and asked them to flush but didn't work for me. Not sure whether they did so in the first place!

Anyhow, after I changed my CVTF it was so much better and almost gone, not 100% though.. more like 95% gone. If changing CVTF (don't use any other brand or ATF which is the old one) doesn't work for you, another option is to buy the Oil Extreme concentrate and add it directly into the transmission oil (dipstick to the left passenger side of the engine, same side as where your battery sits).

Many have reported that this solves their problem 'totally' but I've yet to try as I'm waiting to see if the juddering gets any worse before I decide to do so.
