If you do not maintain your car engine, feed it regular service and fluids renewal and use correct type fluids and parts, give you ANY engine also will break down in no time.

Maybe Honda owners are more fussy and kia su keep changine oil and putting in money to keep things going well - therefore less breakdowns...

But one thing for sure, some cars, no matter what you do and how often you do it, STILL breaks down - tempermental cars... those have serious reliability issues... usually Eastern European. But even these are getting better... look at the Skodas today... used to be a travelling liability.,.. now the Superb Turbo is so ... desirable... (more updated VW engneering transfer vs last time using 6 generations obsolete alfa/fiat engines...)

I do agree with you on the Honda owners being ngiau fuxkers, I boh chap type oso do all my fluid replacements before time due except my engine oil, once a year  maybe my low mileage and the premium oil I used, stock engine still tip top.

In Hatyai when the mechanic REFUSED to change some sensors and water pump for our bro Tomminator cos still in working conditions after testing, he was jumping mad and cant sleep over the matter. Hondas dont believe in turbo charging since their engines rolls out of production, depending on their old vtec for more power. I believe most of hondas engine breaksdown is due to driver not song over the NA setup, either heavily modding them or turbo charging them to monster capacity without preiodical maintenance, thus engine problems arises.

This is true, my office neighbour changed his forester to a Audi A5, engine fail within a month, big hooha, emailed Germany and he got a new car and extended warranty, still a little buay song till today. Another owns a A8 with massage seat, active suspension kaput, will cost him 15000k, somehow he reset the check light and gotten rid of it.

A old fren who is a whaler in Genting Casinos bought a 500AMG, ECU corrupted after parking overnight in Genting within 3 months, took a month to rectify the problem. Sat in it once very very song, 6 summons up and down Genting in one trip. These are the encounters I personally witness. Among all Im the poorest still driving my faithful ES, intent to drive on till 20yrs.

Not all are bad, my rover lasted me almost 9yrs, engine still running but gear box up lorry and spent quite alot during ownership for maintenance and upkeeping.

EO every week? Is the agent stupid or what? That's like 20 steps backwards in technology.

Perhaps he was paranoid, when he found a bottle of bal EO in the booth and was told to top up if needs to, freak him up. Most of the cars he own, will never pass the 3yrs ownership thus he will only leave it to agents to handle when maintenance due. Believe he don't even lift the hood for most of his car.

I believe most tc or performance engines does drink abit, nothing to do with technologies.

Most of the Elites loves contis, thus add to the statistics of engine failures.
Dont believe in REVIEWS too much, take it as a pinch of salt.

He not filty loaded lah, he came from malaysia long ago just a bag and underwear and lifted himself up, time to pamper himself which is correct. Sometimes hear them talking about performance cars and power, all they drive around always within limits, knn. When they came back from NSHW and boosted about doing 140-160km at certain stretches makes me nearly fell of my chair, when their rides can easily exceed 200km. But they are nice people lah.

Actually Im the culprit influencing him in getting the Audi, he wanted a CC Passat. His earlier forester was oso my idea but he claims the forester and the RX8 was trouble free except tires wear fast. Two other tenants owning a IS250 and a Lexus hybrid both very happy over the recommended rides. Basket they fully paid their installments just within one year, knn how to vomit out $4-5000 a month, my ES took me 5yrs to pay up.

Not all models using the concerto and accord engines.

Its a 2.2 gti base on the MG platform straight 4 DOHC, luckily most other parts like arms and brakes are from accord. The most troubled were the radiator, fans and hosings and their shocks are beautiful that wont last more den 2 years, my second set was KONI. Not the most beautiful car, interior are a junk but a car that can deliver. Thats the car I got boxed up during one of the late nite trip to KL by a civic, a accord and a satria from ah fook st till pelangi only when they saw my toddler daughter's head pop up the back window that they pull away. SCRAPPED for 2k
