Hi brothers !

dear ES brothers, just change my ES to a new ride.

Hope I can come for the meetup next week.

I am not trying to flame but just a simple advise to caution brothers here who are trying to sell off their ride or buying new rides.

Just got my car on Wednesday 3 days ago....

I tested my ride and told the dealer that there is some ticking sound coming from the engine bay and when braking there is scretching sound from the brakes.

Even went to STA check and got all Bs.

Am in the work shop now and found out that I need to change
1) belt tensional
2) water pump
3) skim rotor
4) change brake fluid
5) engine oil ( don know what rubbish engine oil they using)

This is not the thing that I am not happy about, just that when I am bargaining the price with them , they are very stiff on that, told them that a lot of things need to change. And their attitude sucks after I sign with them.

It's not entirely their fault but just telling brothers here who are very particular about this type of thing.

Part and Parcel of buying a 2nd hand car from a dealer or privatier...
Its your own judgement and calculations on the damages buying and
thereafter...

Most of the things you mentioned are things you shd change anyways.
Take it as a one time service to the car, for peace of mind.'

Nothing much of a big deal... just do what needs to be done and move
on.... 8)

ya man... new car will never have such a problem... else if it was me I will make big rukus at the showroom scare all their customers away... and go on the internet and sell the story to yahoo! news and any other news ...

make sure I get a NEW and even car upgrade to apease me... since they originally want to play hard ball.

anyway, if used car... it's your business lor...

you of all people should know that once you buy over the car you will need to do a once-over - i.e. full fluids change, brakes check/service and belts change if uncertain when it was last changed.

be also prepared to change suspensions as well - sure the dampers gonna kong ...

My own personal experience is that the best thing is the buy the car AS-IS and bargain down low and take the car immediately, skip the so call servicing and polishing, etc.

Just factor in your own servicing and spare parts on your own before buying the car.
