Mugen aluminum rim XJ on GE Jazz09

Post by Duckula » Sat Nov 22, 2008 2:58 pm

Hi,
Anyone out there know whether Mugen aluminum rim XJ will fit nicely on GE Jazz'09? How much does one cost? Do I need to change the stock tyre as well? Thanks in advance.

Best Rgds.

Shud be ok la. But since u willing to spend so much on this rim, y not get more decent tyres with broader wheel base like 195? adds on more grip n safety for yourself oso.. Just a suggestion la.

The Mugen rim offset is too much, it doesn't look good, the rim will be inside the fender, I am using SSR rim with 16x6.5" offset 45, the rear rim still way inside the fender, doesn't look nice

Stock GE offset is +53, the Mugen one is +55, difference of 2mm....

From the website it says recommended tyre 195/50...

No info on the weight of it though, called Kingcrimson the guy say he only have brochure and can't read japanese

Anyone can help on the weight of the rims?

stock rims by enkei.. still better than replicas....

somemore it is designed to take the weight of the car. slightly heavier, but more stable during cornerings....

tats becoz of the dimensional difference between the front n rear thread width..
stock front is more protrudin by 15mm compared to the rear..
due to tis, rims matchin for the GE model can get complicated esp when u intend to lower ur ride..

anyway mugen is the honda aftermarket specialist..if the webby says it will suit the fit, than sure can.. :D
jazz n fit body r the same..under GE series..so no complications in rim fitting..
