Qs on hybrid

Post by Jackson83 » Wed May 19, 2010 1:32 am

Hi all, have always read in magazine that while waiting in a car (say half an hour), we should always off the engine and air-con so as to not waste petrol.

But in the case of hybrid, the engine is cut off when not moving so it should not matter right?? Or will it have any bad effect on the hybrid engine??

the wonder of hybrid that you don't wear the engine unnecessary

unlike petrol only cars, too much off/on will wear prematurely on the electronic and engine
to be precise the starter motor
the wonderful part of hybrid, it automatically shut down the petrol engine and uses only the electric part seamlessly
not to be worry as we got a SPECIAL STARTER

that why we're called environmental friendly

another plus point to note

i was at city square yesterday and the car park was full,
the only thing that stop me was the entry barrier
(btw it can't tell i'm a hybrid..... hehe)
finally the barrier open despite the FULL sign still stay
(maybe the control room saw a HYBRID waiting)
i just drove directly to the special hybrid only lot
(omg there was few parked there)
parked and walk to the escalator just like that
(i hv a angry driver staring at me why i'm so special whereas he might hv took some time to look for one)

thats another wonders of hybrid thats priceless!
