Estimated yearly savings on my petrol bill is around $1.2k based on current pump prices. But your potential savings will differ because your distance travelled would most probably be different from mine.

I read Nov's edition of Torque that Honda - Kah Motors are going to bring in Honda Insight by the end of the year.

However - in conjunction with Honda Civic Hybrid, which costs about $100k, the Honda Insight might cost abit more.

Yet I feel buyers with Kah Motors can feel satisfied, as I'm sure the models comes with the add-on packages - such as on Board GPS Navigation, Bluetooth system, (Has any current car models in Singapore using Paddle Shifts ??) Paddle Shifts for manual models...arm rests and of our reading lights...(-.-'') oh yes, I forgot - Dunlop tyres (sigh what else??) are the same but I reckon Kah Motos may offer Insight with 16'' rims rather than the usual 15 inch rims that current owners are using right now.

Whereas budget buyers may look to Parallel Importers where its the basic Insight model and other misc items may come with a add on price.

I hope to see more Honda Insight Owners, parts can be made available for us very soon. Cheers!
