what's the steering with "!" logo mean on the dash

hi there,
just got my fd2 last week, just wondering the steering icon with"!" appear when i turn the key before cranking start my car... is this normal?

Nope its on the middle left side of the dasboard...

maybe you could read the owner's manual.

guessing that if that light stays on - means your steering system something is wrong... you are sure it's a sheering wheel and not a wheel wheel right?

in any case if any warning light (yellow/red) light stays on after you start your car, you should immediately take your car back to your mechanic to have it checked...

if i'm not wrong , thats a steering lock light .. its a few standard icons that will light up before u start cranking when it is doing engine check .

it maybe that u have switch off the traction control on ur fd2. try pressing n hold the VSA button for a while to turn it on.

I'm quite sure its to indicate steering lock. I experience the same thing on my '08 AP2 and previous FD1 too. But once engine started it will go off. So yea..
