Hi all,
New to the forum here (but not new to Honda). I recently just purchased a used 2008 2.0L CR-V. One thing that has been bugging me is that it seems that the headlights are dim. I am thinking of getting my own bulbs and getting the workshop to install them for me. I got the car without the car's manual, so I wasn't too sure about what bulb sizes the 3rd gen CR-V uses.
I've tried physically checking the kind of bulbs myself, and all I could guess is that the bulb that goes into the projector is a H1. So a couple questions here:
1) What are the bulb sizes I need in order to change every bulb in the headlights (hi-beam, low-beam and pole lights)?
1A) As I've mentioned, I tried to identify the bulb size, but the closest I got was a H1 for the one that goes into the projector. As far as I could see, it seems like the bulb is soldered(?) onto the connection (under the grey rubber cover), so I didn't dare to try too hard to disconnect it without breaking it before I even get to buy a replacement bulb. Can someone enlighten me on how to disconnect and replace the bulb please? I've attached 2 pictures.
My steering wheel didn't come with any audio controls, and for convenience sake, I'd like to have them.
2) Has anyone successfully installed the original audio controls onto one?
I know this may be a long shot, as it's a CR-V from 2 generations ago, but I'm hopeful. Thanks in advance!
