need some advice

i recently changed my shifter to a short shifter for my eg5. Previously my original shifter doesnt give off a slight vibrating sound but now after changing to this short shifter it gives off a small vibrating sound after each time i engage a gear in. i sent it to the mech who changed the shfter for mii and he says that its bcos the shifter is quite close to my exos mid pipe? is this true? can anything be done to rectify this problem?

u can try put 2 thick rubber inside the mid pipe bushing

oki thanks for the advice! will ask the mech to try that
