D2 Coilover Shocks on Euro R

Post by jaymen » Tue Oct 23, 2012 2:56 pm

Hi bro's,
Test drove a car yesterday which had D2 Coilover Shocks.
It felts more stiff than the standard.
Anyone used this before? Is it any good? Whats the price of these shocks?
Regards,

Sanjay

Im on bc br. Stock from fk is 10kg front 5kg rear but I felt too soft so I asked for 12 front 10 rear. And stiffer damper rates. Now car is very good. As stiff as fd2r. If u have family to fetch den stick to 10 , 5.

Was quoted 1780 with installation & alignment, replacement parts are low costing. But going for API, 1570. :)

Thanks bro's jupiters and blackknight for sharing.
Anyone has any idea how much the Standard Shocks cost?
Quite honestly I prefer the standard shocks, this did feel very stiff for me..

sanjay the d2 coilover can set to softest to hardest damping ...spring rate varies frm different coilover makers i believe...so u might wana play with the damper to set it soft or hard. maybe by setting it u might like the setting??? then no need to waste money getting other shocks....jus my 2 cents...i'm on BC coilover...no complains..

D2 there few spec example: - street, track racing and super racing.
I sat on circuit racing recently the handling and stiffness is good price wise reasonable so depend what you want before commit. End of the day regardless of brand the mechanic install the coilover also very important and the setting able to do huge diff.
