Clutch, clutch pump, gear , watever .... HELP !
Hi Seniors,
I am A newbie to manual car and of cos Euro R.
I got my cars 2 weeks only, I feel that sometime my gear 2 onwards does not have enough power, sometimes doing fine. I am sure I engage the gears fully clutch in.
Sometimes when engaging gear it is quite difficult, but most of the time is the reverse gear.
I am on GruppeM air-intake and when aircon is on I can hear vibration sound from the driver side at the engine there.
Is it true that when whack too much the compressor will die easily and gear may wear off very fast too ?
What can I check to clear this irritating problem , I am a very sensitive guy.
Hope soemone can help me ><

Might be clutch botak liao. Do you know if you are on aftermarket clutch?firestone102 wrote: I feel that sometime my gear 2 onwards does not have enough power, sometimes doing fine. I am sure I engage the gears fully clutch in.
Take a look at your clutch fluid (not transmission fluid, the one beside the brake fluid reservior). Might be dirty liao...Sometimes when engaging gear it is quite difficult, but most of the time is the reverse gear.
Sometimes a transmission fluid change might help smoother engagement.
Hopefully not your clutch gear cable or the clutch itself got problem. This one need to let workshop see liao.
Compressor should offload a bit when u are driving hard, but it is best to manually turn it off when u know u wanna whack. Gear wise shld be fine, as long as u dun zhua when u are still engaging the gear, or launch. Is it true that when whack too much the compressor will die easily and gear may wear off very fast too ?
Ex: Honda Civic SiR (EK4) > Hyundai Avante
Current : Honda Accord Euro-R (CL7R) > BMW 328i (F30)
