i find V-Power gives better FC than 98, likewise 98 can travel longer than 95...

hv been monitoring FC on my CL7A for past few months, mine usually lights up when past 480km....btw 9-10km/l so far.
Everything stock, including the driver...

Bro you should base on everytime how much fuel you pump when you see the red warming light pop up. That will be more accurate, just my opinion. I always pump around 52L and getting around 520-580km/l

i've been told that i could get a good FC of about 13km/l.
after looking at your threads, is it just a dream? :p
i'm a light footer, i guess.. occassionally to go slightly above 3000rpm.
used to drive a manual lancer glx. lol. i'm a shell 98 fan.

Perhaps you should juz ask the person who told you about his FC is 13km/l what the driving pattern is like, what size of rims, what kind of tyres, what is being removed from the car (eg spare tyre)....

Yes, think rim size matter alot to good FC.

I am on 18" rim, and aveage fc is about 8km/l, and I am light footed.

I used to get 12km/L.

- Vpower always (Sg)
- Mobil1 gold 0w40 (change every 8K km)
- Denso Iridium sparkies
- mostly air-con is on
- stock sound system
- whack from redlight/stop to speed limit always
- mostly alone in the car
- maintain speed between 90 to 100kmh when cruising on Eway
- tyres are 225/45R17 Hankook V12s
- religiously keep tyre pressure at 260kpa all round
- rims are 17' prodrive GC-05F
- mileage was coming to 60K km, never changed fuel filter yet

Thx for the post ... Getting my car tomorrow. Will try servicing with those '0w40' or '0w30' oil, seems to get better mileage. The tires that come with my car are also the Hankook V12s. Will change the fuel filter cause already 80k.

Will update you guys my mileage in a few weeks or so.
