I have an interest in this HRV/Vezel. The PI's Vezel seems to sell well; I looked at a Vezel X a few days ago. Will suit my need for a Suv as the boot will be able to fit 1 golf bag along the width. And I like the size (not too big and bulky); also it is Cat A. I also contacted Kah Motor who is taki...

I used to have a Nuvi 610 in my car but sold it off a year ago and moved to using a smart phone for my GPS needs. Major disadvantage is the small screen of the phone - thus leaving navigation to audio prompts only. This has contributed to wrong or missed turns on many occasions.

Garmin would be a good choice for Spore and Msia - because you can then use the free and excellent maps from Malsingmaps. You should visit both the Garmin.com and Malsingmaps.com sites - tons of info on Garmin.

I received my set last week from the 2nd GB and had it installed by a recommended tyre shop. Easy to set up and provide accurate readings for tyre pressure and temp. Good monitoring tool - especially for XRoads which don't have spare tyre. If you want, I can contact Chua (organizer for the GB) to ch...

Study carefully before you bring in the Honda navigation system as most probably it will not work in Spore.

Original Honda Sidesteps and Mugen Visors

A couple of months ago I ordered from Thian Seng a set of Honda XRoad sidesteps and the Mugen window visors. Total about $1000. I picked them up yesterday and had them installed today - see pics below. The Honda sidesteps are very well made, strong and steady after installation. Many brackets, nuts ...

Thanks for the feedback. Is your unit hard-wired to your car electrical system? How is your unit mounted on your dashboard? Do you feel this is a worthwhile gadget for XRoaders that don't have a spare tyre on-board - especially if driving up to Msia? Thanks.

The Subaru Forum's 1st group buy met with great enthusiasm - more than 20 people signed up. A 2nd GB is now on and I will sign up - $265 is a VG price, with a couple of other accessories thrown in.
