Seems like Plug & play speed cut gadget is intercepting the signal from the speed sensor than ECU, http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/212759/car/184649/317943/note.aspx This has always been the case even if you use the common gadgets like Apexi RSM or Pivot Rev/Speed meter. i c, got the impression...

U have to understand how the RSM works, the ecu speed cut is still active hence the digital speedo will only record speed up to a certain limit, with the RSM tricking the ecu, the ecu thinks its still at 177/or whatsoever speed, and hence the display on ur digital speedo would be 177 or even 179. you mean the speedo will not reflect the speed AFTER 177 if you install speed cut with RSM ? Sianz half man! strange. digital speedo only limit to 177km??? U have to understand how the RSM works, the ecu speed cut is still active hence the digital speedo will only record speed up to a certain limit...
