My Prelude Pickup Truck (in progress)

Hello again from the US, where you can do crazy stuff to your car (as long as you don't get caught) -

About 150 hours of welding and fabrication put in so far. Another 100 hours to go =)

A Retrospective: ES5->EG9->ED9->DC2

I first bought this... https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3355/3433365197_22969be76f_o.jpg then made it this... https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3646/3433422364_ccd7dfca38_b.jpg which I stupidly gave up for this: https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2663/4233334850_36391dc193_b.jpg (not a bad car, but also not ...

Anyone have lobang with scrapyard?

Hi, Wanted to ask if anyone have kang-tao with any scrapyard ie. you know the boss / someone high up who can allow me to dismantle and take parts from the car when car is already inside the scrapyard. Nothing illegal about this since I'm not taking the chassis or engine block, which is all that LTA ...

Anyone have old air filter for EF?

Hi, I checked my CRX engine air filter yesterday and it was in bad shape. Does anyone have an old air filter for EF stock airbox that I can just borrow / take to use until 31 Aug 11?

Otherwise I'll have to DIY something and hope engine survives another 6 weeks

Thanks
Scott

Thanks, that's reassuring =) After surviving putting a child into a child seat in my CRX, I think EK hatch should be no problem haha.

Child seat into EK Hatch?

Sorry please don't laugh... but I would like to ask if any EK hatch owner has tried putting a child seat the correct way into his/her car PLUS a passenger in the rear seat? It's not that important, but you can scroll down for the background to this question if you want to know. Thanks for any pointe...

The /50 does not mean 50mm, it is the height of the tire expressed as a percentage of its width. So: 195/50 means Tire width = 195mm Tire height = 50% x 195 = 97.5mm In reference to one of the posts, changing from 185 to 195 or vice versa WILL make a difference. A quick mental calculation will show ...

Wa very chim leh brother. Like that if deal with someone, I must arrange to meet at workshop so that no hassle later. I was quite confused earlier and found there are 3 varieties when I change my LCA and Coil-over fork. Ball joint - DC & some EG Fork wide - some EG (For BC coil-overs the differ...

As I posted on another thread, I found BC coilovers way too stiff for my ES5. I've also heard similar feedback from others. Go for Teins, I think you won't regret it.

Actually I (and many others) would not advise using lowering springs with the stock OEM dampers. Stock shocks/dampers are relatively tall, so using lowering springs means you are constantly compressing the shocks beyond their designed steady-state height, which will eventually cause premature leaks....

New Qn for Will, I could prob just call you but for public benefit -

So by extension, EE/EF fork type suspension will fit EK as well, just with the same fork spacing issue at the rear?

Thinking about transferring my CRX's coilovers to a future EK hatch

Well I don't claim to have the magic formula - everyone makes their car buying decisions differently. As per how I conlcluded, the most important thing is that you like the car. But without knowing what you stand to lose, should the worst happen, you could become much sadder than the car ever made y...

Erm. The CRX Si has a DOHC. ZC non-VTEC.

But ok, that aside, you're entitled to your opinion.
