Help on low oil pressure warning

Hi.

I am a new owner of a ek4.

Today, i experience some warning beeps from my Defi oil pressure gauge when i clutch in(and hold slightly longer, usually when approaching traffic light) on the move or when the air con compressor kicks in when stationary. The symptoms occur quite randomly. Can gurus here please advise me what could be the problem and also what is the recommended oil pressure gauge warning level?

Just to add that i have checked the engine oil level and is sufficient.

does your idle drop as well in these situations? if so, might want to have a look at your idle air control valve...
