FD2R - Owner and those that book
FD2R - Owner and those that book
It seem like a lot of bro already book their FD2, guess waverider is the only one that got his car.
Think toda_k20, eiji and myself booked... Ha...
Maybe we should have a thread to talk about our ride? I will give it a start first.
Think Spoon is coming out quite a bit of stuffs for FD2, heard J's racing is coming out something too.
What would you guys thinking of doing to your car?
Anything to add?

We can surely discuss but modding the car would be the last thing in my mind.
I will drive the car for a while before deciding what is really needed to improve the performance of Type-R beyond what the designers intended.

I agree with Toda. Will drive and enjoy the full "stock" experience, then slowly add parts to refresh the R experience over time, or when the stock parts wear out.toda_k20 wrote:We can surely discuss but modding the car would be the last thing in my mind.

I am very tempted with the Mugen intake though...
I think got limiter. Edmunds first drive said that Honda removed the limiter before letting the CTR on the test track for jounalists.eiji wrote:ask waverider to test and confirmwhl82 wrote:Actually i also wont be doing anything to the car.
I heard from ppl saying that there is not speed cut for FD2R. Anyone can confirm?

Ear plugs!! It's going to be noiser than the Accord for sure, since it's a true Type R with less or minimal sound insulation.toda_k20 wrote:We can surely discuss but modding the car would be the last thing in my mind.

I bleieve should have like what waverider said as per standard JDM requirements for production cars.whl82 wrote:Actually i also wont be doing anything to the car.

Jenson button driving the prototype car at 220km/h on track is a different matter.
