Unfortunately our city here doesn't come factory installed, in other countries it is. No need to search SG workshops, none have the parts to make your mirrors retractable. I had check with a few workshops which carry Jazz retractable mirrors as both Jazz and City shared the same parts. To make the mirror retractable, there must be a motor inside your mirror, and Jazz have this motor built inside the mirror. So Jazz owners just need to add a module to control it to close when the gear is shift to 'P' or engine switch off and open when driver start engine.
For us, city owners, there is no motor in our mirrors, so there is no way to make it retractable. However, there is those online selling this mirrors. And it will need to change the whole assembly of the mirror. Prices is around $400 to $500 for each mirror!
I find it troublesome so didn't proceed further. Imagine still have to spray the mirror to the body colour after installation. Thanks to Kah motor for being so stingy. |

| For older citys, i notice there are many 'missing'/different items in sgp models compared to thai. Dont know if its KM want to cut costs, maybe lower omv, taxes etc. |

i actually got mined installed, i ordered the 2 motors and a switch from thianseng motors which carries genuine honda parts and then got my own mechanic to fix it up, and also by adding a relay module to make it auto fold when my door is lock and unfold when engine start, total spent about 300+
hope this does give some of u a headstart if u want to make your city 08/09 side mirrors retractable. no need to respray btw, just replace the manual arm with the motorise arm, and do some wiring. |

as long u have a push button to fold/unfold, just install an auto fold module, wire to the alarm... fold when arm and unfold when engine starts...
look cool though.. |
