Actual depreciation (cost minus parf divide by mths) probably around 10-12 I've seen although I do expect it will probably rise as the rarity increases unless u meet a desperate seller or buy a beat up one. There are already collectors snapping up near mint condition ones...
oic ok many thanks norman for ur constructive feedback/comment :)

Like the other bro said, expect between 10 to 12k pa. Some may be around high 9k pa. Demand for the car will be quite limited to enthusiasts, cos its 2 seats and still not very practical for many. Furthermore, at 10 to 12k pa, you can be considering a 2nd hand 3 series or even evo.

Friend told moi bro that his evo x better value than my ap2 for that extra premium. Depends on what value you put on the car actually.

Exactly. And criticizing the community over a lack of response isn't exactly a 'constructive comment' either. Thinks he's being subtle but the irony probably escapes him pffft..

Anyway, I should probably let this be the end of that, don't want things to get too personal eh

yeah i guess it depends on what one is looking for and hence may place a so-called premium on it. well many thanks for the insight ft231 :)

Seen all kinds of cars and different salesmen. Its learning from experience. Just dun be pressured to buy. If it fits your budget, then buy. Else, dun waste time.
Salesmen always have their own stuff to say, but you make the final call.

When my friend told moi that through my bro, I told my bro that friend's evo x should take out his turbo and try playing na. My pov is that driver's competence is as important as hp. One m'sia rover powered elise driver proved his point. You can have power, but without skill still can kena makan round corners.

Sounds like people trying to tell you that their money was spent better than yours. Not cool.

Both cars are so different that comparing value between the two is really impossible to me

C32,

U r right. Thats the prob. A lot of people carry the mentality that there is "the best" without realising what they r going to be very happy with and what they really want. Honest fact is, if one really invest $$, the s2k is animal. Without budget constraint, any car can be fast. Lol. But, whats the point? Different views of value.
