the sound is from the rear door panel????nutty wrote:Went to Autosaver at Defu to claim my lucky draw prize of 3M Engine restoration system.
Found that the service guy is very professional and decided to let him do my 50k servicing.
After he has serviced my ride, he went for a test drive and noticed there's a tick-tock sound. This has been in my ride for a long time. Kah Motor can't do anything about it.
He insisted on helping me to rectify the problem, and he really did!
I will definitely go back there for my 60k servicing.

I have been going to KM till I service my 40K. Man, it's really expensive, cost me more than $500 plus. Somemore, the person insisted I change my tyres... have to spend another $500 plus. Dont think I wanna go back.
Any good for good ones in the west ? Pls recommend. I know u guys mention autosaver & soon kiang.. really good ?

Re: Is there any good car servicing in the west ?
Yeah, Kah motots is really expensive.
I decided to try AStar in AMK after some googling. Only paid 168 for my 40k servicing, including changing the ATF fluids. The service package uses FUCHS synthetic oil, and the servicing itself was only $79. They also changed my air filter for $18. There are no labor charges, unlike Kah motors which charge for both parts and labor, even under warranty.
As for tyres, I got mine at Soh brothers in AMK. 500+ for tyres is normal. I paid 500 for a set of 4 Yokohama DNA Decibels at Soh Brothers. Very good price.
Looking back at my past Kah Motors servicing, they have been charging me around $250 for 20K servicing and $330 for 30K service. I'm just glad I didn't go back to Kah for my 40K, which would have cost me 500+. Phew !
