750 km is gonna be tough.
The notches are not proportional since the tank is not.
The needle drops faster after the 'Half Tank'
Pacing to 750 km on 1 tank (Down to 1 bar) - Final Part
http://eco-hondacar.blogspot.sg/2015/05 ... -1_10.html
The last time I clocked was 704.5 km, it was 31.5 km after the Low Fuel Lamp was lit.
The most thrilling part for all drives will be knowing when to throw in the towel and head for the pump station.
For this leg, the lamp lit at 687 km and i finally refuelled at 703.2 km
May 9, 2015 @ 0850 hrs - 703.2 km
The fuel receipt
Topped up to full tank with Caltex 92. Photo showing same odometer 110375 km.
May 9, 2015 @ 0855 hrs - Final mileage 110,375 km - 703.2 km

After thoughts
The distance of 750 km was not achieved, but the fuel consumption has improved.
Last refuel - Apr 30, 2015 1839 hrs VS. This refuel - May 9, 2015 0855 hrs
Low Fuel Lamp (LFL) Indicator 673 km VS. 687 km
Distance drove after LFL 32 km VS. 16 km
Tire Pressure 35 PSI VS. 36 PSI
Start mileage 109,672 km VS. End Mileage 110,375 km
Fuel nozzle auto cut off: 48.4 L VS. 46.18 L
Topped up to 50.002 L (13.21 US Gal) VS. 48 L (12.68 US Gal)
I will let the ECU settle and adapt to the improved eco driving style to gauge the performance plateau. Looks like the vehicle can go further based on the refuelling data, it took less fuel to top to full.

My ride is stock. No aftermarket additions
Try these first.
1.Clean the MAF sensor first with contact cleaner.
http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/articles ... g-r18.html
rational for this is to allow the car computer to measure the air flow into the engine accurately so that the fuel injected will be the correct amount.
2. Maintain tire pressure at 36 PSI

Re: Pacing to 750 km on 1 tank
Do the above first. Its the easiest and don't need to downtime your vehicle.
If above does not improve your mileage, try these
1. Check for head gasket burnt by doing a vacuum test. It is quite easy to do.
Head gasket leaks do show in poor mileage and can melt the pistons.
I have had head gasket leaks before. One of the signs is loosing radiator water every few days and need topping up frequently.
This is the video for the Stream for vacuum test on my own vehicle.

2. If vacuum test passes, this next step would require a mechanic to adjust the adjust the tappet clearances of your valves and rockers.
IMO, don't need to clean the throttle body for now. Some workshops would ask to do that. I feel it is a waste of money and you need to reset the car computer later. That's my opinion btw. Good luck.
