Good and cheaper servicing in JB

Just want to share my experience here .
Just serviced my car in JB.

Nice place, lots of makan places nearby and most important that "town" is quite new, wont give you those " kenna" robbed feeling ...

This shop specialized in Honda cars ...

Was charged RM360 for
SUMO R1 Drift Master (5W40) Motor Oil
Original Honda Oil Filter
BG110P Friction Fighter Advance Forumula
BG105 Quick Clean for Engine ( Flushing)
Computerized Balancing and Alignment.

Very friendly staff. - After the computerized check, was told that the rear support arm might need to change and ask me to consider changing it as the wear and tear on the tires will not be even. Told them will get back to them and they say since the rear arm is faulty they will need do the alignment .. ask whether I want refund or not and I say no need. Next time they just do back for me after I got the support arm fixed ...

Was also quote RM75 for Iridium NGK spark Plug.. will replace that next servicing ..

PS: Tried the food located just right behind this service centre ... very good ! There is also a Ultra Racing Shop around the corner ..was quoted RM200 for the Honda ODY RB1 Front Strut bar. ..maybe will fixed it there next time ... also got Autoglym and Meguier Polish shop and Carrefour also there... nice and bright place to hang out while the car is serviced.

Your atf 4 litres as in 4 quart bottles or one 4-litres bottle??? Izzit the ATF-Z1 Ultra???

ya it $35 dollar. i also quite surprice. it at bukit merah branch. and atf $8.5 is normal price. i can find in the forum $8 per litres. so my ody only use 3.5 litres.

Hi all, I went to JB a shop along the same road just b4 holiday plaza. was quoted RM360 for 100k servicing:

1. Shell Helix Ultra Motor Oil
2. Original Honda AFT
3. Original oil filter
4. Check all parts include labor charge

The autoshop was very nicely setup. They have a showroom with most branded japanese after market parts and US brand sound system.

Any bro used their service b4 & like to share your experience if any.

Yes near carrefour. There's a very nice foot massage shop there, the posh one with the very big banner. I always go there to burn some time while the car is being serviced.

i went to JB Honda dealer.. they need to order the parts. surprising they jus called me and told me the parts is here. but when i was there, i told them i'll be only be able to make it on saturday to change the part.. thier reply they usually only do servicing on saturday.. but i told them i can only make it on weekend, and he told me he'll try to slot in. but jus now call, different story dah.. can not, period!.. so saturday i'm going down to cash and carry only lor...

anyone here to share, where i can go in JB to get my mounting engine change? cheap and reliable?

Did you check out the price from sg stockist? unless you go jb very frequently, or you know them very well. if not i would definately stay and watch them do the job.

I used to go jb for some some work but find that when there is issue...that the begining of nightmare.....my own experience. not that local doesn't hv this problem.

Locally will be easier cos can just drive down and get them resolve it, you cant do that if done in jb loh.....
