bro,
i'm also driving sohc vtec..my d16zc engine is at 4000 rpm at 100km/h with 4.9FD and 3,4,5 close ratio..hope this information helps

i remember it was a 500 increased after new GB becos i actually called the
mech to verify if the increment of RPM would affect my FC or not. so the RPM
before new GB should be 2500.

side track abit.

my trip to JB on wed is confirmed, so need to find out the following urgently.

1. what is the dia. of our mid pipe?
2. what is the max dia. allow for our mid pipe?
3. i have de-cat, so is it advisable to operate my mid bullet too? reason for
asking this is becos i have operated my rear muffler.

Haha, my rd tax is due, I juz passed my inspection with the new extractor last
week. I think they closed one eye on older car.

yeah dosent mean that they close one eye means can take advantage. if they really decide to be assholes they can do it as well. then ppl like me will suffer alot as our kinda cars are even rarer than yours.

Mine at 3500rpm.. 3rd gear 60km/h, 4th 80km/h, 5th 100km/h.. Not sure wat gb but Hope this help too..

U can try Johor jaya. Now the new flyover is open. It is even easier to go there. I am driving my ek 3 for 6years. My car still in excellent condition. U sure no regret.

Maybe I can bring u on one weekend. Sound me out. Avg consumption is 12.5 to 13/liter with back boot full of heavy golf equipment and others.

Bro, do you have the address for the workshop?

I may need to visit them for a full checkup with my EG6 as I had just purchased this vehicle
